No Bugs Nancy van Schooenderwoert,
Lean-Agile Partners

Is “no bugs” just a slogan, or really achievable? Come and see how an average embedded software team approached that goal with no coaching, no outside consultants, and no extra support from their company. The team began without any testers – find out what happened before and after they had a tester join.
Their software development process was audited for possible use in medical applications – and passed the audit with flying colors. It’s a myth that Agile methods are not suitable for safety-critical applications. Genuine Agile teams exercise a high level of discipline where testers play a crucial role as full team members. Know what to expect as a tester on an Agile team – and the danger signs that tell you a team has compromised the Agile principles too much. The goal of “no bugs” is achievable when testers work with developers, analysts, architects as a genuine Agile team.
