When approaching test design analysis and creation (especially in agile environments but not limited to those), we are faced with a challenge to reduce test cases/scenarios to minimum, while keeping the risk at acceptable level.
From his experience, Mr. Linetzki will present a well-established process for optimizing test design & lowering the number of test cases/scenarios, using parameters and values analysis (developed based on real-life projects), and some tips for the ability to use free open source tools as well.
This workshop, will cover: understanding the motivation and challenges of huge scenario set, presenting the optimization process, exercise: trying it in class on a simple example, tips for trying optimization SW (open source/free), summary.
The workshop is for test engineers and test managers interested to know more about optimizing test design, and reducing the number of test cases/scenarios, while keeping risk at acceptable level;
The workshop is intended mainly for the basic & intermediate levels: Participants having some experience in test design, risk based testing.
